Restigouche-Chaleur (tall) : Restigouche County and Gloucester County are located on the true north shore of New Brunswick. They face Quebec's Gaspe Peninsula across the Baie des Chaleurs, which is designated a member of the World's Most Beautiful Bays club by UNESCO. With many waterways, the mountainous location at the north end of the Appalachians, and four well-defined seasons, this area is a sure bet for photographers. You just have to step outside your door.

Your Bio

Welcome to the galleries of Anne Babin, a photographer based in northern New Brunswick, Canada.

I am working on a long-term project on the Restigouche-Chaleur area, so many of the images here are landscapes and nature scenes from both sides of the Baie des Chaleurs. You’ll find other themes as well – whatever happens to catch the right light on any given day.

If you are curious about an image, ask about it by email. Just quote the catalog number that’s shown under it (such as 06001), along with your question.

Ordering greeting cards
All images except the panoramics (for now) can be made into greeting cards. Ask about them by email.

Ordering prints
The images are not downloadable because they are all copyright protected. There are two ordering methods for ordering prints: 1) through the shopping cart on this website, or 2) by contacting me via email.

The shoppping cart method
Prints ordered through the shopping cart are made in and shipped unframed from the USA. Prices in the shopping cart are in US dollars and that is the currency used by the cart for all orders placed there regardless of destination. If you want the print framed after you receive it, I strongly recommend that you take it to a good frame shop that can advise on frame selection. The framing treatment has a big impact - a good choice really enhances the image and you will enjoy it more!

Local orders
If you live in eastern Restigouche County you can order from me directly (email or in person) and pick up or have your order dropped off. I can also look after framing for you, as well as provide any special finishes, papers, framing, and mounting options that you might want.

Licensing
In future you will be able to license images through this site. In the meantime please contact me if you are interested in licensing.

Email
You can contact me at sixcrows@nb.sympatico.ca
